...just got to get that monopod! Until then I try to use a tripod and to get
a photo permission in advance.

And of course a good 2.8/70-210mm or more (for 35mm). (I just made an offer
for a Vivitar series 1 2.8/70-210mm, which is almost as good (3.1 according
to www.photodo) as my Pentax (F version), but a 1-2 stops faster. The Sigma
you use (the EX APO i guess) is really much better, but too expensive for
me. (realize now that I should have spent more money on glas, less on
(Pentax) bodies :-/)

Lasse said, that the *ist D must be a hell of a good camera - LOL. I guess
what he meant, was - you are a hell of a good photographer. At least, I
believe so.

Hi Jens,

I used a monopod (the new Manfrotto 559B, with quick plate). The main
problem was to skip heads and arms in front of the lens, shoves and the like
(since I was in the crowd).

Spot exposure metering and aperture priority (in most pictures when the
subject is centered) or manual exposure (usually for off-center subject
and/or backlight).

Dario
