This PAW is very different from anything I've posted before, not so much in the subject matter, but in the presentation. Maybe you'll enjoy it ;-))
The image is 800x646 and a little less than 200K. Some of you may have to scroll a bit in your browser, but that couldn't be helped.

Shel, I think you could have considered rotating the vertical image before putting it to the contact sheet. You said yourself, it is done in PhotoShop, so you could have done that.
Other than that, I rather like third shot in the first row, second or third shot in the second row and first or second shot in the third row. The rest I should say look like less fortunate takes. At least on my monitor and given their size.
It is indeed unfinished. Perhaps choosing few shots and putting them in a presentation like this would have more impact. It really looks like a photo-movie - sequence of very engaging (for me being young father) and active shots...
But then again, you showed us your strips of film, unabridged.
