I've got some friends who often need to set up PA gear in places
where the audience can get very close to things the operators
don't want strangers to touch, and can't always monitor it
constantly.

They made up signs with black and yellow striped borders that
say, "DANGER: 10,000 OHMS" to scare people off. The thinking
is that folks who know enough to giggle aren't likely to be
clueless enough to muck with the equipment, but the ones that
clueless might be scared off by the big number.

Of course, the signs are accurate, since some of those terminals
are line-level inputs.
