I have a list of lenses I check KEH at least once a day for. I recently picked up a
Macro 100/2.8 this way for $189 US in bargain condition. I works great and I'm loving
it.

I believe it's not so much the focal length she's after, but the macro
capability. The A100/2.8 macro (1:1) goes for about $450 to $550 U.S. when
you can find one.
