According to the correction printed in PopPhoto/May 2001 the RTF can sync up to 1/8000 s - but if the shutter goes only to 1/6000 this feature is not very useful ;-) - but the flash covers the field of view of 24 mm lens, not bad. And I have never said that the MZ-S is a bad camera - just that the MZ-5N is so good that I see no reason so upgrade (at least that´s what I keep telling myself). All the best!
