Thanks Frank. I appreciate the comments. I agree that the bread appears underexposed. That was my intention, but it may have been a poor choice. I can easily change that and perhaps I will. Again, thanks for the feedback.

Hi, Paul,

I generally like it quite a bit. I find the bread to
be a bit underexposed or dark. I do like the way the
background seems to fade a bit into dark on the right.
By now, you're the guy I'd call if I wanted a glass
of wine photographed <g> - I hope you drink it
afterwards and not put it to waste! <vbg>

There's something about the photo that just doesn't
"do it for me". I suspect that maybe seeing it on my
monitor isn't the best way to see it displayed. It
should be bigger, and nicely framed and up on a wall
or something. I hope you take that last comment the
right way: I'm sure you'll agree that presentation
can and often does make or break a work of art - and I
suspect that here it might be the difference between
"that's a really nice photo" (which is what I feel),
and "holy crap, that bastard Stenquist knocked my
socks off again!" which I often feel from yours.

Still, it's a pretty damn good piece.

cheers,
frank
