Your comments have little to do with my decision. I've not had a vacation since 1997! have gone thru a lot of stress the past year or so, and want to explore new directions in photography and in my personal life, better integrating the two areas. I don't consider myself to be a "street photographer" although I can see how I can be considered that by some people. Ironic coincidence - had a couple of photogs look at much of my work today, and they described it as a type of portraiture. IMO, street photography, and just for the record, I dislike that term, is far more random than what most of my work is about. Even the seemingly random shots are not, as they are often part of an overall theme, which, due to limitations of my time and the format of the venue here, cannot be fully shown or explored.
