So that is one green serene pic, Agfa Ultra 100 hey, it delivers plenty of

pretty difficult to scan even using a decent dedicated film scanner.

The print isn't quite this green - almost though. Unfortunately most of the rest of the pictures on the roll turned out to be rather dull colourwise (lack of forethough on what i'd be shooting), a peril of shooting scottish landscapes in february when there's nothing but rock and mud.

All in all
it's not a bad pic the only thing is that the veiling green makes it that
little bit difficult to easily differentiate between the rocks and the foliage.
Well done in any case especially if its one of your first.

Thanks, I didn't notice (or really think about) the tree movement when taking the pic - that contributes a large amount to the overall greenness. The slower pictures I took had more of a rock/foliage contrast, but didn't do much justice to the water.

Don't get too locked
in to the slow/shutter water thing, do try and experiment with faster shutter
speeds too, sometimes the dynamics of the water flow is interesting too.

Worry not - I walked up the river a bit and tried shooting some fast shutter shots of the next set of rapids - unfortunately it was too dark under the canopy to get too many really fast shots. I'm still experimenting with faster shutters, although as yet without too much success.

thanks,
billy
