Since Canon & Nikon have had DSLR's > longer, some of their statistics might be relative as well. At late September last year, I probably have one of the older istD's on the list. I don't recall exactly how many hotties I had when i bought, but I am pretty sure I have more now. Not a big deal, as they show up longer than 1/10 second, which is fine for me. I do have a query ongoing at Pentax Canada regarding what they think is within spec. William Robb
