Hi all,

This is a reminder for the vintage pictures project most of you already
know. However, I repeat the concept below:

Since this year marks 40 years since the introduction of the Spotmatic (late
1964 in Japan), our club magazine (http://www.aohc.it/spotmate.htm) will
include at least one article about the Spotmatic each issue.

Then I've got an idea: what about collecting some vintage pictures, taken
using a Spotmatic (or another Asahi Pentax SLR and/or lens) during the
1964-1975 era?

Anybody having some and willing to share them with other folks interested in
this topic, please select a few (possibly the best ones :-) and send
them to me. Then I'll publish the most interesting ones in a special issue
(January 2005) and in AOHC website.

Some pictures I received are here:
http://www.aohc.it/picte.htm

All published authors will also receive a free copy of the magazine.

Best interesting pictures will be those related to some known events, like
sports and chronicle (now history). Did you shoot an Apollo launch, a rock
concert, the Vietnam war, or anything like that? You're welcome!
Furthermore, any other picture giving the taste of the time (cars, dressing,
hair...) is welcome too.
In case, please also add some usefule details (e.g. approximate date and
location), to complement the picture.

Sounds interesting? I do hope so!

Thanks,

Dario Bonazza
