Before I put my foot in it any further I'd better point out that I'm talking about those little video cameras that people buy at department stores. I guess that I just don't see the point of them because I don't have kids.
Also I have a general dislike of being on "the other side of the camera" - stills I can stand, but the thought of someone chasing me around with a video camera is scary! The problem with these cameras is that the people who use them are generally relatives who will make you sit down and watch the results.
If I end up on the news at least I have the option of not watching!
Having said that I've given thought to making a short film someday...
