How about a manual focus Tokina 17/3.5? It's cheaper than the Tamron and is 
quite affordable used. It takes 67mm filters too (quite common among Pentax 
lenses).

I'm looking for some kind of budget wide lens. I see
lots of offbrand ~19-35 zooms (vivitar, phoenix, etc)
that seem reasonably priced on ebay and elsewhere, but
out of this price range (100-150 USD), what's the
best? A zoom would be nice... but a prime around 17-20
would be ok.
