Hi David and welcome to the group.

I have the 43WR and have just gotten back from a holiday where I used it alongside
the *istD, MZ-S, and a Ricoh GR1. It's great as a carry anywhere camera for the beach
or bad weather, or where you just want to go light. It has a great macro mode so long
as you can get close to your subject.
It's great for general pictures and even action in good light so long as you can
precompose. I got some great shots of waves crashing on the seafront during a storm.
The downsides?:
It's not so fast in low light where it hunts a bit.
The LCD screen is virtually invisible in good daylight, and the viewfinder isn't 100%
coverage. You can work around this though.
The neoprene case twists around so you have to check that the lens isn't partly
covered before taking a shot.
I have to wipe the lens as I tend to get fingerprints on it when getting it out of my
pocket or bumbag.

These are all pretty minor things though. I'd like it to have an Av or Tv mode, but
can live with it. Overall it's a great little camera that you don't have to worry
about, and I'd recommend it.

Nick
