I feel your pain here. When i took the dark room class in the fall of 2002, the
instructor
did dry runs on
the first class and on the second we did our first develop.
After what seemed like an hour,we had our film in the tanks and the lights back on.All
the
while the
instructor was talking about how carefull we needed to be on our chemicals and don't
mix
them or the
order up.
WELL,quess what.As the first group (i was in it) was ready to go he handed us"the
developer",only to
here him say after about a minute"holy c**p,i gave you the fix".
Needless to say my roll did not look so good.But,in anticipation of me not doing
something
right the first
time,i just shot 36 frames of some junk in the backyard,so no damage,just something to
but
in the
memory banks.:-)
