Boris,

You Russians are such a joyful people.  <vbg>  It must
be those long grey cold winters or something...

But, while I'm poking gentle fun at the lovely Galia
(say hi to her for me, Boris - I've never met her or
anything, but if she puts up with you, she must be a
saint <vbg>) I might as well comment on the image
while I'm here.

I like it.  I think the dark blue sky is most
compelling.  I like the pattern (or is it a lack of
pattern?) of the trees and branches.  The Venus thing
doesn't do much for me aesthetically, but I guess it's
interesting to know what it is - the image would be
about the same with or without it, IMHO.

But, I think it's a really cool image, and I imagine
that it would look terrific all blown up and put on a
wall or something.

I have to confess that I don't get the effect.  But,
I'm never any good at those things one's supposed to
stare at and then have 3D things pop out of after a
while.  Maybe I'm just too intense a guy...  <vbg>
