Nice shot... I find myself wishing for slower ISO settings on the *istD...
though I do appreciate being able to crank it up on the fly.

This one is a Cabbage White. A little different for me in that it was not
shot with flash. Instead it was shot with available light while I was out
for a walk with the wife and daughter. To make sure I got adequate DOF and
minimal camera shake I boosted ISO to 800. Higher sensitivity amazes me
still. I'm so used to Velvia (50) and Provia 100F that being able to shoot
at these kinds of shutter speeds with good DOF is a real treat on the D.
Even though it's cropped significantly, I bet I could get an 8x10 out of
this that would look pretty good.
