it's a well known fact. it matters a small amount to Pentax since they are selling the lenses to both the digital camera vendors and the cell phone camera vendors. OTOH, i have a reference somewhere that says Konica-Minolta is the largest OEM of digital camera lens units. i could be misremembering though.
