You would want something that would kill the fungus,
or it will just grow back. I don't know what to
suggest, but Pond's cold cream probably wouldn't kill
the fungus. I know 5% household bleach would, or 70%
ethanol (I practise microbiology). But I don't know
what they would do to the lens. I suspect not good
things.
