The pre-sets are quite good, if you are used to shooting daylight film and 
adding warming (shade/cloudy)/cooling (tungsten) filters then you will 
appreciate the colour pre-sets. Of course when shooting RAW the WB pre-sets can 
be changed after the fact but setting them incorrectly when saving as jpg or 
tiff can ruin an image. I use the custom WB mostly when I'm shooting on a light 
table and I need accurate colour session to session.
