I'd also say, based upon my own testing, that it's quite good at f/8 or f/11, but quite soft, on the other hand, at wider apertures. See: http://www.cetussoft.com/pentax/resolutn.htm Build quality is quite high, as would be expected on a K (pre-M) era lens. Fred
