Note that if you really don't want these KR-5 anymore, I can help you
eliminate them :)

Thanks for tips on how to find Ebay bargains :)

I am currently the proud [ :-( ] owner of several of the KR-5 series
cameras.
Not a single one has a shutter that can be depended on at the higher shutter
speeds!
Not worth a CLA, not worth selling as is, no money in selling as a lot.
Ballast perhaps?
Look hard, K series and even MX's go for very low prices sometimes.
Look for the "not obvious ones", like "Penax, Camra Cheap" sometimes the
mis-spelled and mis-listed items hide great bargains.
My last MX came FREE with a $45.00 K 28mm F3.5 lens! And NO, the auction
title didn't even mention the camera.
Not until I got into the description did I find out about the "Freebie". The
title was "Lens for old camera".
The camera was mentioned as "non-working", it needed a battery.
Patience, you'll find a good one eventually.

Don

Jeez! I just spell checked this and I had spelled "mis-spelled" wrong! THAT
was close!
