I think it must have been Ektachrome 64 for tungsten

Twenty-some years ago I worked for a small automotive magazine in New
York. We did a lot of our own photography, including covers and
spreads. I shot most of the big stuff with my Speed Graphic and
Wollensak 127 lens. Our studio was a janitor's closet on the 6th floor
of the old Hearst building on 57th street. For this shot I bought
twenty yards of black gabardine at Macy's (they asked if I was making a
nun) and piled it around four boxes that I had stacked in the closet.
The lights were tungsten. I couldn't get a great lighting arrangement
and ended up with some real hot highlights, but they worked okay with
the prismatic starburst filter on the front of the Wollensak. Anyway,
that's the story, here's the pic:
