Markus, thanks for taking the time to look & comment. What I've posted is a moderate crop of the original slide in which about one fifth of the bottom has been removed, that included leaves from the main flower & other leaves in the vicinity. I felt the inclusion of that cropped bottom distracted from the effect I was "shooting for". My outdoor photographic philosophy is to isolate & simplify, forcing the viewer to concentrate on the scene I want them to see.
