The lens I've ended up shooting most with on the *istD is a 24mm (Sigma f/1.8). I've
just gotten a Pentax SMC-A 24mm f/2.8 to try as a more compact alternative.
I had thought the 43mm might be the one, but its just not right.

As I've mentioned before shooting with the *ist D and it's smaller than 35mm
sensor has forced me to pretty much have to review the purposes of my existing
lenses, still not happy about this. As a consequence I've been struggling to
find an appropriate medium WA solution for the camera
