Third party a 100% recommendation?? Well, nothing is 100%, not even Pentax. They all make lenses for different purposes, or valids. So check out tests (i.e. www.photodo.com). But I kinda agree with Norm.
But, anyway, I beleive I can recommend Tamrons (i.e. Adaptall mounts and especially "SP" ones), and Tokina (especially ATX-zooms) - as well as Kenko converters. If money is an big issue - why don't you buy a Pentax 105WR: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=626&item=3829349944&r d=1&ssPageName=WDVW You may actually never notice the photographs were not made with an SLR. They are quite afforable at ebay - perhaps 50 USD. It's a brilliant camera for travelling - and it's water resistant. M135's on Ebay are common and inexpensive ($60) and have great glass. I don't know about 3rd party, don't use them, but you can get good 135mm and 28mm M series lenses pretty cheap.
