OOoookay, I know I'm seriously tardy in responding to stuff (it's
been a difficult month).  Here goes...  At least I'm responding
before the May PUG goes online, eh?

I thank you, but I must confess that I too would probably have missed
it, were it not for a friend nearby insisting that I should go for it
despite having B&W film loaded.

I'll have to experiment with Photoshop/GIMP filters to smooth out
the sky as you suggest -- I've still got a lot to learn on the 
digital side.
