Yes, that may well be the best solution. I guess I'm thinking in practical terms, since my tripod is 18 inches off the ground here, and it doesn't go any lower :-). But your point is valid and well taken.

Paul, I find the gray bar running L to R, just above the car a major distraction. I like the tight crop and the angle you choose to position the car. I'd move just slightly to eliminate the hot spot on the LF spoiler.

The guy who owns this car bought it new. I chose to shoot it in front
of a glass walled building instead of the usual void background. The
camera was the *ist D, the lens was the SMC Pentax 135/2.5, f11 at
whatever on a tripod. The lens was fitted with a polarizer to control
