I think that Sigma 120-300/2.8 was designed from the scratch as only ultrasonic motor driven lens, so that probably made no sense economically for Sigma to make completely new design for either Pentax or Minolta mount, mostly because this kind of lens would be bought mainly by pros using Nikon or Canon. -- Best Regards Sylwek
