I have one of these I need to take apart this weekend to glue the "illuminator window" back in, perhaps I can take some pics of the spring.

Alan Chan (I think it's Alan) may have some other thoughts, sounds like he's
worked on more Pentax's than I have.
Unfortunately I have not come accross any faulty Super Program so I have never repaired that part of the camera. Counter spring (pic above) is the only thing come to mind.
