LOL. The problem with the P&S cams is they take forever to AF. Tracie has a Kodak DX6490 (I believe you were there when she made the sales pitch. She won.) It will pre-focus with a shutter half-depress. You can also manually focus although that's more of a zone focus. Or you could switch to still life. ;-)

But it is good for ebay stuff. I tried shooting a cunning little dog who lives on my street and the shutter lag prevented my getting anything I saw, where as I would have captured what I saw with my KX. Sigh annsan
