The Canon does not sell the Rebel in Greece; it's the 300D, I guess
:-) And I don't think many fork out the serious money it costs out
there. When I last looked (Oct 03) there were still MZ-10s on display
and the Zenit importer asked for the equivalent of 200 pounds for the
16/2.8.

My (limited) experience is that people (ab)use digi and film P&S,
complete with flash, in stadia this side of the pond.
