Boz has it wrong.

(I'd describe the camera as having "Av, Hp, M, Tv", not "Av, Hm, M, Tv")

The MZ-S has a program mode. It's rather like the hyper-program mode
of the PZ-1p or *ist-D; moving the shutter-speed selector control while
the camera is in program mode instantly switches the camera to shutter
priority, but you can cancel that selection by pushing the green reset
button. Unlike those other cameras, though, the MZ-S doesn't have a
body-mounted control you can use to also switch to aperture priority;
the only way to do that is to move the lens off the "A" position. If
you do that you can still set the shutter explicitly or automatically.
There is no shutter speed dial, per se, so there's no "A" position;
you tell the camera to switch to automatic shutter speed selection by
pushing the green button. Pushing this button switches the camera from
M to Av, so there is no Hm mode - in Hm mode pushing that button would
perform a one-time metering and shutter speed selection step, but would
leave the camera in manual exposure mode.
