Which, in and of itself, is not the whole story unless you specifiy aspect ratio!
My Argon Technologies 17" (15.875" diagonal actually viewable) CRT monitor has an aspect ratio of 1.34 to 1.
It's only 12.75" wide, which is what faces me everytime I sit down in front of it.
But, who wants to talk about his or her 12 �" CRT? No-one... <g>
