I've heard that it will use SD memory cards, rather than CF. At first I thought this was bizarre because it would discourage ist-D users from buying a "baby-D" as a second DSLR. Then I slapped my forehead and said "DUH! That's the idea! Encourage them to go for the more expensive camera!" (a variation on how Canon "crippled" the Rebel-D to minimize it's impact on 10D sales). But it's also an interesting way of marketing to people who have a digicam and bunch of SD cards already: Let them keep their present memory cards and use them interchangeably with a point-n-shoot *and* a DSLR. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
