Insert a brass pin? I know a technican in Taiwan did this and claimed to be better than the original plastic part. Hope I won't have to do that to my Z-1p <g>

I've never thought to ask this here, and I didn't see mention of it in the
archives.
I have a very simple, 5 minute fix for ZX and MZ series flashes that won't
"pop up"
anymore because of the plastic post that holds the spring inside the flash
breaking.
A dozen other people have probably already thought of this, but if not,
would anyone
be interested in my putting up some pics of the fix?
