Actually there are two of them, there's a S70 announced too. In black & grey (nice colors). Seems that they're alternating them, last round it was the G5 that was black and the S60 silver, now it's the other way round.

Funny. I took a close look at the G6 and S70 sample images both on dpreview and canon's Bebit site. To my eyes it looks like the sensor noise is *lower* than on the 5 MP siblings (G5 & S60). Contrary to all those prophets who said that increasing pixels on same chip size does nothing but increase noise. Might it be that this time they also managed to address the noise problem in 1/1.8 sensors ?

I also took a look at the D20 image samples on bebit. Those guys botched the studio lighting, poor girl is all sweated and there are lots of mirror shiny surfaces on her face. Apart from that, the D20 specs and images made me drool.
