I think the MX is the best-looking camera Pentax ever made, but the only cameras I have ever wanted for irrational, drooling, unjustifiable reasons are Leica Ms. As it turns out, I find I use them more than any other camera now, so they must be useful as well as desirable! I'd love a Leica MP. When I spoke to <enormous-name-drop>Tom Stoddart</enormous-name-drop> at his exhibition a few weeks ago he told me he was not happy with his MPs (he has 3), or with Leica's unhelpfulness. Apparently the cameras take too long to rewind - something that really matters in the situations he gets into - and he has tried several different crank designs to no avail. The MP he was carrying when I saw him had a very weird-looking rewind crank which someone had made for him, but which really spoiled the aesthetics of the camera. -- Cheers, Bob
