I've only shot a few rolls with the 43mm Ltd but here are my experiences with it (compared with the still-lovely FA50mm)

* Beautiful to look at and to hold - eenough said.
* Handles a bit better than the 50mm. The focusing ring isn't much wider, but with the serrated ring, the focus is easier to gently touch up with my fingertips.
* I can't tell any difference in sharpness between the two lenses, which is to say, both are pretty sharp.
* The difference in speed is hardly noticeable.
* The bokeh bothers me a bit though. If the out-of-focus regions have specular highlights, the bokeh is quite harsh and distracting. The bokeh on the 50mm is always lovely and creamy.

So, if you were to ask me whether I regretted buying it, I'd say no, just because it is such a work of art itself. But I do a lot of shooting wide open, and the bokeh is worrying.

I'm also mucking around with a new Zenitar 16mm fisheye - a VERY different beast indeed. I'll post something in a few weeks time.
