Chris

My crystal ball says that Ilford sells the business as a going concern, the new owners make big layoffs and drop some of their less-profitable lines (my money's on PAN-F and SFX), and the cost of Ilford photographic products goes up. Long-term either they will find a niche in the dwindling but still-extant market for black-and-white film products, or they will be unable to cut their overheads enough and die. I hope for the former, but it may be that in five years' time you'll only be able to get "Lucky" film and "Oriental Seagull" paper...

Anyone else care to join me in uninformed speculation? :-)
