Still scheduled to be shown at Photokina and available in November as far as I
have heard. Said to be smaller than the current camera. Uses SD cards instead of
CF. It will still have a real pentaprism, high magnification viewfinder, and the
stainless steel erector set chassis. I have a feeling that it is going to be a
replacement for and not a downgrade of the istD, although priced in the D70
range. Why? The name, "*istDs"
