Actually it's a bit worse than that :-(
A US$550 sale is will cost about US$25 to ship here with insurance, at the
current bank exchange rate that is about AU$1160, but that's not all, there
are document lodgement and customs clearance agent will add (approx
AU$100) plus GST of 10% (AU$116.00) so ~AU$1375 or US$687 all up :-(
Been there, done that.
