and you can get a fairly bad film disposable for a bit less (not sure what the go for in the US). It probably would perform about the same as a film disposable, but


 1) lets you review and delete pictures (until the battery runs out...)
 2) has the word "digital" on the box :)

If the cameras are recycled and reused then while expensive they seem to be a nice way for people without cameras to "rent" a camera for a bit.

Still overly expensive i think...seems to be in the price range that people who would already have a digicam would be attracted by, which is probably not what they want...
