One possible problem with LCD is that there is no way to tell where the exact focus is. The camera may AF slightly off and you cannot tell until too late. Or you want manual focus to compensate for this error but a mission impossibe with LCD, no matter how large the LCD is. There are times, DOF won't save the day.

Dunno about you guys but I definitely preffer to compose on a LCD screen on the back of the camera instead of looking through a peephole. If I want to see the small details in the scene I just directly look at them. The only exception I could see are action shots through a long lens. Please don't tell me about DOF preview, I know exactly what happens when you want to check it at f 1:16 on a SLR camera.

But since this is a matter of personal preference, I'm starting now to wonder why I wrote this in the first place.
