After so much discussion about digital and the benefits of using the histogram, I decided it was time to see for myself what the fuss was about and whether a histogram could help my photography. Not wanting to spend a lot of money just to try out a feature, I came across this little jewel. It offers a simplified histogram. Here's the result after making a perfect exposure:
