today, i was shooting some staged sports action shots for a friend. 6 frame buffer isn't enough. the people are in the sweet spot for about 8-10 frames worth of action. i ran each one three times. with film, i would have taken perhaps 2 frames per set and redone the sequences about 10 times. three times was about right and i reviewed my shots after each round.
