Thanks much, Frank.  There's a place for those "tires
alight" photos and more power to the guys who earn a
living shooting them.  But, as you say, it's the
people who interest me most--people and their
relationships to their cars and each other. 
(Although, I have to say, a dragster doing a burnout
under the lights is damn cool.)

Fixing Shadows (fixingshadows.org) is a real grab bag.
 Everyone from the famous (David Plowden) to those who
someday may be (Elizabeth Whelan--find her in the
gallery), who was only 20 when she produced her
terrific essay on an Aids orphanage in Zambia.
