In the MZ/ZX series of cameras the higher the number the fewer the features. Thus the MZ-60 is the very bottom of the line, and the MZ-3 the top (ignoring the MZ-S which they probably could have named the MZ-1 though it shares little if anything with the rest of that line).

However, the MZ-60 is a good beginners SLR, which is what it was sold as.

The manual states that lenses without autofocus or lenses not set to "A"
will not work *at all* on the 60.
And yet it sells for more than the 10 or the 50.
The 50 uses any "A" lens, the 10 uses any "K" mount lens!

Really? But, but... I didn't think there was supposed to be any
difference between F and A lenses in terms of aperture control etc. In
other words if F works, so should A...

The 2 soft focus lenses that Don't have an A setting on the

aperture ring won't work either.

You would expect that, of course...

I only have A lenses and none of them work with the camera at all.

Again, that surprises me... Unless you really meant M lenses...

BTW, doesn't this camera have a "Pentax Function" that may be set to
allow *all* lenses to be used, but possibly with incorrect metering. Or
is that a different model?

What a Crippled camera.

I think I can agree with that...
