I'll try to keep this simple.
1.) I am not raining on anyone's parade. If anyone has been paying attention, I said I
supported the idea of an LX celebration.
2.) I said that since the LX celebration was different from the PUG, it should not be
on the PUG server. Since it is a PDML project that is =separate= from the PUG, it
should go somewhere other than the PUG, the same as Valentin's lens gallery, Stan's
page, Boz's page, etc., none of which are part of the PUG, yet they remain part of
the PDML family of resources.
3.) I have no interest in homogenizing the universe, eliminating pride of ownership,
crushing creativity, or any of the other heinous crimes that have been attributed to
me.
4.) There's nothing either boggy or fuzzy in my thinking. Well, there is, but not on
this issue.
5.) I'm gonna think twice about expressing my opinion again, which suppose is the
desired result of all this hysteria.

At 3:12 PM -07004/27/01, Bob Blakely brandished a crayon and scribbled:
>Excuse me! How is anything changed in as much as the LX Gallery was ALWAYS
>going to be a separate gallery? Is it the mere fact that it must be on a
>different server the single item that makes this gallery acceptable to you?
>This is the WEB. It doesn't make any difference if an LX gallery is another
>page link on the same site or another site link! it ALL looks and works the
>same to the user!

>Am I missing something here????
