I owned the A 50/1.2 lens once. Mine was ruined in a freak lens drowning accident more than 10 years ago. I really loved the lens although it sucked wide open. But what lens does not at F:1.2? Anyway it is sharp stopped down and very sharp at F:8 to 11. I remember it was tested in a swedish magazine sometimes in the 80's and at F:8 it outperformed all the other 50mm lenses on the market if my memory serves me right. It is wonderful to focus with due to its speed giving a truly bright viewfinder image. It was also beautifully built easily beating Leica 50mm lenses, which I compared it with, in term of finish and built quality. I really enjoyed using this lens. Pl
