Another question, I am afraid: it turns out I have the 49mm hood for the Takumar 28/3.5. This uses the same mechanism as the 18/3.5, whereby you turn the hood against the ring that attaches to the lens to tighten it. Will this work with a step-down ring, or will there be too little lip to attach? Thanks, Kostas
